Where The Early Voting Lines Are Shortest

The numbers suggest a lot of people are really anxious to get this voting business behind them. According to an AP report this morning, 1.9 million Floridians, about 16 percent of the electorate, have voted already.

Most of those have cast absentee ballots but about a half million have done it in person, often waiting for hours at early voting sites.

Sorry, can’t shorten the wait for you. But regional elections supervisors have figured out which of their sites have the shortest wait times. Check them out for Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Palm Beach County does not appear to be estimating wait times for this election.

You can shorten the wait time for your fellow voters if you're already familiar with the ballot when you show up at the voting site.  Here's a list of sites and county-specific sample ballots.
